September 19 Volunteer Work Party
Join us Saturday September 19 8:00AM at Barlow Pass for our September volunteer work party.
Trail work will be our #1 job; we’ll start by clearing new growth on the roadside at about mile 3.5. When that’s complete, we’ll continue towards the townsite further clearing the sides of the road. If you want to help with this activity, bring gloves and either pruners/clippers or power tools (brush trimmer/cutter) if you have them.
Note the meetup time is earlier at 8:00 instead of the usual 9:00. You can meet us at 8:00 at the gate if you need let in, or otherwise (if you have a key) let yourself in and meet up with us on the trail anytime throughout the day. End time is flexible – stay as long as you wish.
Bring your own trail and brush tools, plan for the weather, and bring your own refreshments.
